Research data from University of Cape Town, Division of Clinical Pharmacology update understanding of HIV/AIDS in children

Researchers detail in "High prevalence of subtherapeutic plasma concentrations of efavirenz in children," new data in HIV/AIDS. According to a study from Cape Town, South Africa, "Efavirenz-containing regimens using concentration-controlled dosing have been shown to provide potent antiretroviral activity in children. In many settings, concentration-controlled dosing is not available."
