BearingPoint Awarded AIDS Support and Technical Assistance Resources Contract

BearingPoint, Inc. (NYSE:BE), one of the world's largest management and technology consulting firms, announced that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has named BearingPoint as one of six awardees of the AIDS Support and Technical Assistance Resources Contract (AIDSTAR). The contract spans five years and has a shared ceiling of $200 million that will be awarded under individual task orders.
The President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief covers 120 countries around the world, with a special emphasis on 15 countries in Africa, Asia and the Caribbean. In the 15 focus countries, which are home to approximately half of HIV infections worldwide,...
