Research on pediatric in children detailed by scientists at Washington University, Department of Pediatrics

Investigators publish new data in the report 'Recurrent Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection in a human immunodeficiency virus-positive child.' "Mycoplasma pneumoniae is a frequent cause of community-acquired respiratory infections, especially in young children and adolescents," scientists in the United States report.

"The significance of M. pneumoniae infection in HIV-positive patients, particularly children, is not well described," wrote M.E. Watson and colleagues, Washington University, Department of Pediatrics.
