According to a study from the United States, "Delinquent girls are at elevated risk for unplanned pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases when compared with non-delinquent peers. 234 incarcerated female juveniles-completed demographic, individual, partner, peer, and family measures and were tested for sexually transmitted diseases."
