"This study explores the relationship between the employment status of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-positive individuals and socioeconomic and health characteristics in Spain. Data were obtained from four waves of the HIV/AIDS Hospital Survey from the period 2001 to 2004," scientists in Toledo, Spain report.

"The sample was composed of 3376 individuals between 16 and 64 years. Assessment of employment participation was performed using a probit model on a wide ranee of socioeconomic and lifestyle-related variables.
