Andrew C. Cowen named president and CEO at device firm

CMS, Inc., appointed a new president and CEO. Henry Wendt, III, chairman of Computerized Medical Systems, Inc., (CMS) announced the election of Andrew C. Cowen, a member of the company's board of directors for the past 7 years, as president and CEO. Cowen succeeds Douglas M. Sprague, who will continue to serve the company as an advisor to Cowen. Cowen has served for the past 12 years as an executive of Brown Brothers Harriman, most recently as a Senior VP in its private equity investment group, with primary responsibility for Brown Brothers' life sciences investments.
