Knowledge translation has the potential to reduce care gaps

A recent report on knowledge translation from the Canadian Cardiovascular Society focused on turning best evidence into best practice. According to the report, published in the Canadian Journal of Cardiology, "Care gaps, the discrepancy between processes of care recognized as best practice and care provided in usual clinical practice exist in cardiovascular disease.
