DARPP-32 overexpressed in colorectal adenocarcinoma

Research suggested that because DARPP-32 is overexpressed in colorectal adenocarcinoma, it might participate in the regulation of carcinogenesis. "Dopamine and cAMP-regulated phosphoprotein (DARPP)-32 is a phosphoprotein that is centrally involved in dopamine signaling pathways. It may play an important role in gastric tumorigenesis. Our aim is to investigate the expression of DARPP-32 protein in colorectal adenocarcinoma," scientists in the Peoples Republic of China reported.
