Research from University of Texas, Department of Internal Medicine in medicare and medicaid provides new insights

Current study results from the report, "Epidemiology of medicare abuse: the example of power wheelchairs," have been published. According to a study from the United States, "To determine the effect of neighborhood ethnic composition on power wheelchair prescriptions. The 5% noncancer sample of Medicare recipients in the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER)-Medicare linked database, from 1994 to 2001."
