HMS Holdings Corp., the leader in cost containment and program integrity services for government healthcare programs, announced it has been selected to join the Russell 3000(R) Index, effective June 22 when Russell Investment Group reconstituted its comprehensive set of U.S. and global equity indexes. The Russell 3000 tracks the performance of the 3,000 largest U.S. companies based on total market capitalization. Russell determines membership for its equity indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings and style attributes.
