The nutrition director of the Los Angeles Jewish Home, the largest single-source provider of residential care in the western United States, is imploring all seniors to remember what got them this far: Making the right choices via a "Top Ten Tummy Tips" list. "The fastest-growing segment of the population is the elderly," said Susan Jensen, RD, the Jewish Home's director of nutritional services. "Too often this is also the group most susceptible to many health risks from a nutrient-poor diet.
