Studies in the area of antibiotics reported from University Hospital

Research findings, "Is there significant regional variation in hospital antibiotic consumption in Germany," are discussed in a new report. "Outpatient antibiotic use in Germany differs substantially between eastern and southern parts of the country (low use) and the western part (high use). Whether similar regional variation exists in hospital antibiotic consumption is not known," scientists writing in the journal Infection report.
