According to recent research published in the Journal of Trauma - Injury Infection and Critical Care, "Poor follow-up by patients with trauma results in a lack of knowledge of postdischarge health-related issues. This study reports on postdischarge health-related issues discovered by a program of active postdischarge contact or follow-up."
