Two new LabChip devices introduced for drug discovery screening

Caliper Technologies Corp. (CALP) announced the launch of two new microfluidic LabChip devices for use with the Caliper 250 drug discovery system.

The 12-sipper Off-Chip Mobility Shift chip will significantly increase throughput, important in high-volume experimentation. The 4-sipper On-Chip Mobility Shift Assay will further simplify drug discovery screening assays for a number of target classes, including kinases.
