Ohio hospital group extends contract with Humana

The Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati, Ohio, which includes six hospitals, said it reached an agreement with Humana of Ohio on a 2-year extension through December 2006.
Humana of Ohio, part of the Louisville, Kentucky-based nationwide health benefits company, has about 400,000 members. The Health Alliance, which includes Christ, University, Jewish, Fort Hamilton, St. Luke East, and St. Luke West hospitals and about 2,500 physicians, is the area's largest health system.
