Biotechnologies corporation completes sale of bioreagent business

Stressgen Biotechnologies (SSB) announced that it has completed its previously announced sale of its bioreagent business to Stressgen Bioreagents Corporation. Stressgen Bioreagents Corporation is a newly formed company funded by Ampersand Ventures Cost of the sale was approximately CDN$8 million (US$6.33 million). As part of the agreement, the company transferred 26 employees into the new bioreagents company, and will receive additional revenue by providing transitional administrative services to the new entity.
