Company receives CE Mark approval for UniStar cobalt chromium stent



June 6th, 2005

Conor Medsystems, Inc., (CONR) announced that its UniStar cobalt chromium bare-metal coronary stent received Conformite Europeenne (CE) Mark approval in the European Community for the treatment of de novo coronary artery lesions.

Conor also announced that the company has received Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification of its facility in Athlone, Ireland for the commercial manufacturing of its proprietary coronary stents including the UniStar stent and the CoStar cobalt chromium paclitaxel-eluting coronary stent.
