Life science research company enters supply and distribution agreement with EMD

Large Scale Biology Corporation (LSBC) announced that it has entered into a multi-year agreement with EMD Biosciences, Inc., San Diego, California, under which LSBC will manufacture and supply one of its proprietary protein products for distribution by EMD Biosciences, Inc. LSBC's plant-based biomanufacturing platform can produce commercial quantities of a wide range of pharmaceutical ingredients, industrial proteins and R&D reagents. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
