Biocompatibles International announces retention of CellMed

Biocompatibles International plc (BII), a medical technology company focused on drug device Combination Products, announced the retention of CellMed AG by the waiver of the put option.

The acquisition of CellMed was announced on 4 March 2005 and the press release is available on the Biocompatibles website.

The transaction involved initial equity and cash consideration paid in installments (the Initial Consideration), plus additional potential performance payments based on CellMed's cash generation from specified programs.
