Merit Medical reports 2006 sales of $190 million exceeded previously announced range

Merit Medical Systems, Inc. (MMSI), a manufacturer and marketer of disposable devices used primarily in cardiology and radiology procedures, announced that sales for the year ended December 31, 2006 were approximately $190 million, exceeding the previously announced range of $185-189 million. The company has not changed its previously announced earnings range of 41-45 cents. The company also announced the release of several new products, including a new series of Resolve drainage catheters with marker bands, Prelude introducer sheath line extensions, the ShortStop Advantage, the Merit Advance angiography needle and the Impress 5-French flush...
