Investigators at National Chung-Hsing University, Department of Veterinary Medicine publish new data on nuclear medicine

New investigation results, "Reducing renal uptake of 111In-DOTATOC: a comparison among various basic amino acids," are detailed in a study published in Annals of Nuclear Medicine. According to recent research from Taichung, Taiwan, "Several studies have reported significant renal toxicity after the use of a high dose of 90Y-DOTATOC. Thus, renal protection is necessary in treatments with 90Y-DOTA Tyr3-octreotide (DOTATOC)."
