Knopp Neurosciences Initiates Phase 1 Clinical Trial of KNS-760704 in ALS Development Program

Knopp Neurosciences Inc. ("Knopp") announced the initiation of a Phase 1 clinical trial of KNS-760704, a small molecule therapy in development for the treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). This randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, single ascending dose study in healthy volunteers is being closely followed by a multiple ascending dose study in healthy subjects. Both studies are designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of KNS-760704 in human subjects.
