Cougar Biotechnology Appoints Samuel Saks to Board of Directors

Cougar Biotechnology, Inc. (OTCBB:CGRB) announced the appointment of Samuel R. Saks, M.D. to the Company's Board of Directors. Dr. Saks is a board certified medical oncologist with over 25 years of experience in the clinical and academic settings. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a publicly held specialty pharmaceuticals company that he co-founded in 2003. Prior to joining Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Saks held a number of positions at Alza Corporation, which was acquired by Johnson & Johnson in 2001.
