Investigators at University of Agriculture zero in on microbiology and biotechnology

A new study, 'Microbial biodegradation of a novel fluorotelomer alcohol, 1H,1H,2H,2H,8H,8H-perfluorododecanol, yields short fluorinated acids,' is now available. "The accumulation of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) has been detected in wildlife, soil, and water.
