MetaMorphix, Inc. Announces Sale

2011 FEB 21 -- MetaMorphix, Inc., an animal biotechnology company, announced its intention to sell all, or substantially all, of its assets as part of its reorganization under a sale in Chapter 11 pursuant to section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code. The Company also announced that American MedTech Advisors has been retained to assist in the sale of the Company.

The Company will be accepting bids for any or all of its assets until 4:00 p.m., March 3, 2011. Qualified bidders will be invited to participate in an auction, which will be held on March 8, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at the law offices of Pinckney, Harris & Weidinger, LLC, 1220 N. Market St., Wilmington, DE....
