New Biotechnology Data Have Been Reported by Scientists at Flinders University

2011 DEC 5 -- Current study results from the report, "Antimicrobial peptides: promising alternatives to conventional antibiotics," have been published. According to the authors of a study from Adelaide, Australia, "Antimicrobial peptides (APs) have been described as evolutionary ancient weapons. Produced by a wide variety of organisms as part of a non-specific immune response, these peptides are involved in the direct destruction of various microorganisms."
