Dow AgroSciences Announces Major U.S. Asset Investment Related to Enlist Weed Control System

2012 FEB 27 -- Dow AgroSciences LLC, a subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE: DOW), announced that the company is moving forward with a significant, multi-year asset investment in the United States related to its innovative Enlist™ Weed Control System. Specifically, the investment enables production of the company's patented 2,4-D choline which is a key component in Colex-D™ Technology. This technology will be featured in the company's proprietary Enlist Duo™ herbicide, a highly differentiated herbicide solution for the Enlist system.
