Research at Beth Israel Deaconess broadens application of multidetector CT

Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. announced the details of ongoing clinical research being conducted at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) of Boston, Massachusetts, to further improve the clinical application of the Aquilion multidetector computed tomography (CT) system.

A major teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, BIDMC is renowned for its excellence in academics and expertise in body CT imaging. The Aquilion 16 CFX scanner has been installed and operational at BIDMC since January 2004.
