A review of current treatment modalities predicts that new intradiscal therapies forthcoming.

Scientists writing in the journal Spine report "[a] systematic review of the medical literature regarding current intradiscal therapeutic methods" in an effort to "establish an understanding of the current intradiscal treatment options for the management of low back pain."
