New patents covering PrimeBoost platform and immunotherapy products announced

Oxxon Therapeutics, Inc., (Oxxon) announced the addition of two new patents to its growing portfolio. These patents contain claims broadly covering aspects of Oxxon's PrimeBoost platform and immunotherapy products. Oxxon's patent estate currently includes the rights to 28 patent families, resulting in over 200 issued patents or patent applications. European patent EP1214416 B1 describes the use of a replication-deficient adenoviral vector to boost a CD8+ T cell immune response following prior administration of a nonadenoviral priming agent where both the prime and the boost encode the same disease-related antigens.
