Steatotic grafts raise the risk for new-onset diabetes (NOD) in liver transplant patients. "The impact of NOD post-transplantation has been underestimated in the past. The aim of this study was to evaluate the incidence of diabetes after liver transplantation," researchers in Italy report. "We retrospectively analyzed the incidence of NOD in 899 patients transplanted in our center.
