BTG plc



BeneFIX maker projects 10% growth

BTG plc (BGC) has entered a close period and announced the following update for the half year ended September 30, 2005.

BTG also announced the sale of certain Radio Frequency ID (RFID) patents.

The group's performance during the first half was in line with the board's expectations. First half revenues benefited from the settlement reached with Zimmer Holdings, Inc., in relation to the two-part hip cup litigation, which resulted in a gross payment to BTG of $17.4 million, and from the settlement with Netflix in relation to the WebNav patents.
