Health plan awarded quality accreditation for disease management programs

Blue Care Network of Michigan has received Full Patient and Practitioner Oriented Accreditation from the U.S. National Committee for Quality Assurance for its disease management programs that help members with asthma, diabetes, congestive heart failure and cardiovascular disease. BCN's comprehensive disease management programs are built on a partnership among members, physicians and other medical providers. Identified members receive educational materials and tools to help them live with chronic illnesses.
