Study identified no predictors of sustained ventricular tachycardia

Researchers have investigated sustained ventricular tachycardia induced by dobutamine stress echocardiography.

Investigators in Greece conducted a study "to investigate the prognostic significance and electrophysiological characteristics of dobutamine stress echo (DSE)-induced sustained monomorphic ventricular tachycardia (VT)."

D.G. Katritsis and colleagues of the Athens Euroclinic explained, "In our department, 3,022 DSE studies were carried out on 2,688 patients, aged 54.7±11.8 years, over a 3.5 year period.
