Orthopedic medical devices company reports Q4 2005 net sales up 3% to $80.3 million

Wright Medical Group, Inc. (WMGI), an orthopedic medical device company specializing in the design and manufacture of reconstructive joint devices and biologics, reported Q4 net sales totaling $80.3 million in its financial results for fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2005.

The net sales of $80.3 million represented a 3% increase over net sales of $77.7 million during the fourth quarter of 2004. Excluding the impact of foreign currency, net sales increased 6% during the fourth quarter. Net income for the fourth quarter of 2005 totaled $2 million or 6 cents per diluted share.
