Second study of Seroquel for depressive episodes from bipolar I and II confirms first study

AstraZeneca (AZN) announced results presented at the annual meeting of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) from a large-scale study called BOLDER II, which examined Seroquel (quetiapine fumarate) as a monotherapy treatment for depressive episodes in patients with bipolar I and II disorders.
