Coronary artery disease is associated with Alzheimer disease neuropathology in APOE4 carriers.

In a recently published article, scientists in the United States conducted a study "to examine the associations between postmortem Alzheimer disease (AD) neuropathology and autopsy-verified cardiovascular disease."
