Recent studies from the Czech Republic, United States and Turkey add new data to obesity research

Investigators in the Czech Republic, United States and Turkey have published new obesity data.

Study 1: Nitric oxide production from rat adipocytes is modulated by beta(3)-adrenergic receptor agonists and is involved in a cyclic AMP-dependent lipolysis in adipocytes.

According to recent research published in the journal Nitric Oxide - Biology and Chemistry, "It is established that the modulation of beta3 -adrenoceptor function could be associated with impairment of lipolysis in white fat and be responsible for disturbed lipid metabolism.
