Generex Biotechnology completes acquisition

Generex Biotechnology Corp. (GNBT) announced the completion of its acquisition of all of the issued and outstanding shares in the capital of Antigen Express, Inc., in exchange for approximately 2.9 million shares of Generex common stock. Dr. Joseph V. Gulfo, MD, MBA, is the president, CEO, and a director of Antigen Express. Gulfo is also expected to join the board of directors of Generex. Antigen Express will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Generex focused on the development of immunomedicines for the treatment of malignant, infectious, autoimmune, and allergic diseases.
