Oncology drug makers sign agreement for AGRO100

Aptamera announced that it has signed a product development and license agreement with Archemix Corp. for Aptamera's investigational anticancer drug, AGRO100. As part of this agreement, Archemix, the exclusive holder of rights to the Selex portfolio for aptamer therapeutics, will provide Aptamera with a non-exclusive license to aptamer technology for therapeutic uses of AGRO100 and AGRO100 derivatives. The Selex portfolio consists of more than 160 issued patents covering the selection and use of aptamers.
