Pilot manufacturing facility for bacterial vaccines planned in Massachusetts

Avant Immunotherapeutics, Inc., (AVAN) announced that it has reached agreement with MassDevelopment for Avant to occupy and build out a process development and pilot-manufacturing facility in MassDevelopment's technology center located in Fall River, Massachusetts. MassDevelopment, the economic development entity for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and Avant have worked closely together over the last several months to develop a financing framework that allows Avant to establish its own manufacturing capability while remaining in the Commonwealth and creating new jobs.
