Positive results confirmed for tumor targeted superantigens cancer product

The final report from the clinical trial of TTS (tumor targeted superantigens) candidate drug CD2 in renal cancer has been compiled.

The analysis of tumor response in the open phase IIa study on patients with advanced renal cancer at a progressive stage treated with TTS CD2, confirms the encouraging results from the interim report in June 2003.

The primary endpoint was defined as the number of responders to treatment. After 2 and 4 months of TTS CD2 treatment, 68% and 40% of the patients showed stable disease, respectively. Median time to progression was 119 days.
