Research in diabetes pathogenesis provides new insights

Reports from Denmark and Japan highlight recent research on diabetes pathogenesis. Study 1: Researchers examine the influence of the PPAR-gamma 2 Pro12Ala and ACE I/D polymorphisms on insulin sensitivity and training effects in healthy offspring of type 2 diabetic subjects in a recent issue of Hormone and Metabolic Research.
