Medical assistance company announces name change



July 6th, 2005

Michigan-based MedAssist announced that it has changed its name to Advomas, effective immediately.

"We've always been strong financial advocates for our hospital clients and their patients," comments Cheryl Korpela, president. "Our new name reflects that with 'Advo'; while not neglecting our heritage and the acronym most know us by, 'MAS' for Medicaid Assistance Service."
