Alkylsulfanyltriazoles have inhibition against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. "The increasing clinical importance of drug-resistant mycobacterial pathogens has lent additional urgency to microbiological research and new antimycobacterial compound development. For this purpose, new alkylsulfanyltriazoles were synthesized and evaluated for antituberculosis activity," scientists in Turkey report.
