Alcohol and smoking interaction are focus of review

The contributions of alcohol and smoking interaction in aerodigestive cancer, coronary heart disease, and traffic and fire injury are the focus of a review published in a recent issue of the journal Addictive Behaviors. According to the review from Canada, "Alcohol and tobacco are responsible for a significant amount of burden of disease, but some diseases may be a result of the interaction between these two risk factors."
