The differentiation of benign from malignant adrenocortical tumours can be accomplished using IGFII and MIB1 are helpful immunohistochemical markers. According to recent research published in the journal Histopathology, "The differentiation of adrenocortical carcinomas from adenomas may be difficult based on morphology alone.
