More planning needed in case of bioterror attacks, experts say

In the past year, bioterrorism has received headlines, dollars and the interest of public officials - all rare before the first anthrax-tainted letters were mailed 1 year ago. But while the U.S. is better prepared today to handle a germ attack, experts agree that major holes remain.

There have been no arrests and there are officially no suspects in the criminal investigation into the attacks-by-mail, which killed 5 and sickened 18. The investigation appears stalled, but across the country, efforts to prepare for the next attack have moved steadily forward.

Still, much work remains.
