According to an abstract submitted by the authors to joint meetings of the Midwestern and Eastern regions of the American Federation for Clinical Research, to be held September 28-30, 1995 and October 28, 1995, in Chicago, Illinois and Boston Massachusetts, "The superiority of alloBMT over autologous BMT for patients (pts) with relapsed or refractory HD/NHL remains unproven. The added toxicity of graft vs host disease (GVHD) may diminish the potential benefits of graft vs tumor activity and receiving marrow stem cells untreated by prior chemotherapy.
