Plasma Collection Operations Expanded

North American Biologicals, Inc. (NABI), Boca Raton, Florida, announced the expansion of its German plasma collection operations with the establishment and licensing of a third plasma collection facility in Bielefeld, Germany.

NABI commenced operations in Europe in 1994 with the establishment of its German subsidiary and the acquisition of two plasma collection centers in Gottingen and Braunschweig.

"Demand from our European customers for high-quality, high-value source and specialty plasma continues to grow. Since acquiring our two German centers in 1994, we have tripled the volume of plasma previously collected in those centers," said David J....
